Antique 1910s French Provence Cafe Glass Window Sign
Antique 1910s French Provence Cafe Glass Window Sign
Description
This antique French Cafe advertising sign represents 1910 craftsmanship. The "Cafe" lettering features black and red on a white background, a staple of the Pre-Prohibition era designed to catch overhead ambient light. The name "Cafe' Le Coq Noir" evokes a collegiate, casual luxury status, which was highly popular in early 20th-century branding targeted toward aspiring young professionals. This is an absolute stunner when light passes through it, with subdued colors and serene graphics. Approx. 19” x 24” x 2" overall with frame.
