Description
This casket stand was used to transport the coffin from funeral homes to the hurst. It is collapsible, and can easily be stowed away. This casket stand was made by the Champion Chemical Company of Springfield Ohio in the 1920s. You can see the Art Nouveau decoration detail on this very nicely made piece.
This carrier/stand makes a wonderful base for a coffee table, and certainly a great conversation piece.
