Very rare vintage RailRoad Railway Train Flag & Flare Signal EMERGENCY / SAFETY Kit. Heavy-duty specially designed metal container to securely hold all components of set. Circa 1950's or earlier. Measures 14" height x 6 3/4" width (add another 2 1/4" for handle) x 4 3/4" depth (add another 1 1/2" for flag holder). Entire unit with included accessories weighs 7 lbs. Shows wear from actual working use. The 15" x 17" red flag is attached to a 24" pole. The flag appears to be made from a cotton material.
